OUR WINES
Bandol Red
Domaine de Souviou Red is a wine for laying down. It bas been matured for 18 months in oak barrels and is brilliant from its first few years.
A lovely crimson colour, Domaine de Souviou Red is robust, weIl balanced and elegant. The grapes are totally de-stalked before vinification, so it may be enjoyed while still young thanks to the aromatic power of the Mourvèdre, which gives it aIl its strength and a delightfully long finish.
It has natural red berry aromas that, with time, acquire hints of undergrowth, liquorice, venison and a touch of roasting and spices.
Leave it long enough and it will develop old leather and truffle aromas.
Its "rose petaI" colour gives it an elegance that continues into the tasting.
A fruity but dry wine of a rare aromatic complexity, offering dried fruit, spice and floral aromas and a feeling of roundness and fullness on the palate.
Full of aIl the scents of the "restanques" from which it came, it explodes with freshness and spontaneity when young.
Thanks to the Mourvèdre, Bandol' s main grape variety, it may be allowed to age for several years.
Domaine de Souviou Rosé bas won a number of gold medals and, like the red, may be used to accompany the whole meal.
Domaine de Souviou White: a flavour that has a rare elegance.
A lovely pale golden colour, remarkable for its roundness in the mouth, ils finesse and elegance, it develops floral, then fruit aromas, with hints of pepper and toasting.
It is produced in limited quantities and is thus a very rare and much sought-after wine.
The weIl balanced blend of three magnificent grape varieties
- Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah - make this a particularly scented, easy-drinking wine.
The addition of Mourvèdre brings outstanding roundness and a long, long finish.
A delicate, pale salmon pink colour, this is a dry, fruity wine with apricot, peach and candied fruit aromas.

OLIVE OIL
With its ancient olive trees, some more than a thousand years old, Domaine de Souviou presses an extra virgin oil.
The olive trees are maintained with the same concern for quality as for the vineyards, with annual pruning, natural fertilisers and sprays, and irrigation limited to the newly planted trees. The olive groves extend over 25 hectares at a height of between 180 and 280 metres.
The olive varieties are crushed separately ("bruns", "caillons", "aglandaux", "bouteiIlans", "picholines", etc.). This means that 2 oils with different flavours can be produced meet everyone's tastes and the requirements of the different dishes in which they are used.
OLEA PLINIA
With the fruit y flavour of green olives for salads, steamed vegetables, mushrooms, fresh pasta, etc.
OLEA SELVETICA
A more robust character for bringing out the best in Mediterranean country dishes: ratatouille, "soupe au pistou", artichokes "à la barigoule", etc.
